International recognized location for fly fishing is by the Unica river near Planina. There are frequenting sports fishermen of grayling here from all over the world. Classic fishing is allowed on the Ceknica lake (pike), on the Rak River in Rakov Škocjan (bleak), on Nanoščica River (carp) and other locations.
