Predjama castle
High in the wall, under the natural rock cliff, where a cave opens, stands the mighty

Planina field
The most typical carst field in Slovenia. This field is one of the rarest low meadows of natural formation in Slovenia, as casual floods make forest growth impossible. Planina field is important nesting ground of meadow species of birds and also a resting place for migratory birds. There are 2 roads crossing the field, meanwhile other paths aren`t suitable for cars, but are perfect walking paths between vast, humid an swamp meadows, which glow in abundancy of meadow flowers in the summer time. Pivka cave iand Črna cave (Black cave)
Cave guide takes visitors to 60 m deep abyss on carved staircase, to the galleries, where you can spot the flow of river Pivka. There is a 100 m passage leading to the neighboring Črna cave, which was named after the black limestone, which covers the cave ceiling and walls.
Cerknica lake
The biggest disappering/periodic karst lake in Slovenia. It is so intruguing with its interesting natural phenomenons and diverse flora nad fauna, that it was written about it more than of any other carst field or lake in the world in the whole history. The lake fills in spring in the times of rainfalls, when it offers numerous possibilities os sports and fishing.
Rakov Škocjan
Carst valley, hidden in the forests is a natural park. Water which rusn from Cerknica lake and Planine field cuts through this valley. Circular road goes around the park, marked with signs of karst attractions. Science learning path on the valley bottom informs us of karst phenomenas and of flora of this region
